This would make more sense, given characters would return to the planet later in the series and not face any of the negative effects of being in a black hole, such as dying horribly.

ohh... btw.. could i borrow yer sisiutl design to remake fer ya in adobe illustrator.. and if so.. any specifics youd like.. keep within the usual coulor (red, black, white, etc.) or anything flaashy, shiny or jazzy in mind?...

Well, Sisiutl is traditionally a more southern group design (Nuu'cha'nulth, Kwakiutl groups for example) and they use a lot more green in their work than the northern groups. I find the green/turqoise Xaadaas chose for his quick repaint beautifully classic and quite stunning (I don't mean to insist on tradition, but I think regardless of the colour, Xaadaas' designs far outdo any conventional artistic molds).

But then, you're the one repainting it. =)

i'll stil witch the traditional then.. just wanted to give my hand a try at something like this. I hope to make it beautiful and shine like glass when i'm done.. or gem.. whichver is closer.. cause i saw some with eyes done in abalone shells and i thought of yer pic. which is great! True they do use alot of greaen.. i was going to say green but for alot of the other tribes they stil with mainly those colours but yur most definetly right on that.

WHOOT WHOOO! Another Miyazaki/Ghibli fan! Good to know there are others who appreciate the art of animation for what it should be(for the most part) traditional hand and ink! yup! Have a great time on DA! ^.^

Miyazaki is incredible. I don't call it anime, because it is far superior to the run-of-the-mill stuff. Just the creativity behind all the quality work is so impressive, nevermind the finished product.

true that.. lol.. i said animation hun.. not just anime.. i think anime is basicaly in my mind all animation but for me.. most sepcifically stuff like old disney (think things like bambi) or studio ghibli mostly cause the have everything.. great designs, sotries, and characters! whatmore?.. they can blend it all together and make it actually look good, unlike alot of animation these days (not so much for disney now aday... didn't mind when they broghut original bambi back but sequels and crap.. that'd make even walt sick i tihnk..)
